Any person who has attained a high school diploma or G.E.D. High School Equivalency Certificate is eligible to attend Bartram Dental Assisting School, subject to personal interview. All applicants must exhibit a proper willingness and enthusiasm to learn the art of dental assisting.

Admissions at Bartram Dental Assisting School are conducted throughout the year. Those applications who apply during the course of class training will be given first consideration to be enrolled in the next course. New classes will start approximately every ten weeks. A high school Senior may take our course on the condition that he/she has an overall grade average of B. Credit may be granted, subject to the director’s approval, for previous education of training.

Admission Procedures

To apply, please fill out the admission form linked at the bottom of the page. After we receive your application it will be reviewed and processed by our admissions department. Bartram Dental Assisting School requires a personal interview with each applicant prior to acceptance, someone will contact you after receiving and processing your application to set up this personal interview. After the interview, the School Board will send you a letter of acceptance or denial depending on the applicants interview. An Orientation will be conducted for all accepted students and their spouses or parents, as is appropriate, approximately two weeks prior to the first day of each class session. This gives everyone an opportunity to become familiar with each other and serves as a question-and-answer period for students, family, instructors and faculty alike. Admission representatives are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Bartram Dental Assisting School reserves the right to change program start dates, tuition, or to cancel a program. Any changes will be made in accordance with the Florida Commission for Independent Education rules and regulations and students will be notified of changes. Students will abide by the roles and regulations of the school at the time of their enrollment. Currently enrolled students will not be affected by tuition increases.
Any person with a criminal record at the felony level is advised that he or she may be prohibited from employment in the dental healthcare setting requiring background checks. The form for Florida Dental Radiography Certificate requires you to answer questions about any criminal record.
